Refund Policy

Refund and Exchange Policy for Little Piece Of Eden LLC

At Little Piece Of Eden LLC, we strive to provide a peaceful, enriching, and luxurious experience rooted in our Christian values and commitment to sustainable permaculture practices. We understand that plans may change, and we aim to handle refunds and exchanges with fairness, compassion, and integrity. Please review our refund and exchange policy below, which covers farm stays, workshops, tours, and our farmstand.


1. Farm Stay Bookings

Cancellations by Guests

  • More than 30 days before arrival:
    Guests may cancel their reservation and receive a full refund, minus a 5% administrative fee. Alternatively, guests may choose to transfer their booking to another available date within 12 months at no additional cost.
  • 15 to 30 days before arrival:
    Guests may cancel their reservation and receive a 50% refund of the total booking cost. Alternatively, guests may reschedule their stay for another available date within 12 months.
  • Less than 15 days before arrival:
    Due to the nature of our luxury farm stays and limited availability, cancellations made within 15 days of arrival are non-refundable. However, in cases of emergencies or exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness, family crisis), we will prayerfully consider rescheduling your stay or offering a partial refund at our discretion.

No-Shows

If guests do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and do not provide prior notice, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

Early Departures

If guests choose to leave earlier than the scheduled check-out date, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the stay.


2. Workshops

  • More than 14 days before the workshop:
    Guests may cancel their workshop registration and receive a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee. Alternatively, guests may transfer their registration to another workshop within 12 months.
  • 7 to 14 days before the workshop:
    Guests may cancel their registration and receive a 50% refund. Alternatively, guests may transfer their registration to another workshop within 12 months.
  • Less than 7 days before the workshop:
    Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are non-refundable. However, in cases of emergencies, we will prayerfully consider offering a partial refund or transferring your registration to a future workshop.
  • Workshop Cancellations by [Farm Name]:
    If we must cancel a workshop due to low enrollment, facilitator availability, or other unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to another workshop.

3. Farm Tours

  • More than 7 days before the tour:
    Guests may cancel their tour booking and receive a full refund, minus a 5% administrative fee. Alternatively, guests may reschedule their tour for another available date within 12 months.
  • Less than 7 days before the tour:
    Cancellations made within 7 days of the tour are non-refundable. However, in cases of emergencies, we will prayerfully consider offering a partial refund or rescheduling your tour.
  • Tour Cancellations by Little Piece Of Eden:
    If we must cancel a tour due to weather, maintenance, or other unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule their tour.

4. Farmstand Purchases

  • Refunds:
    All farmstand purchases are final sale. Due to the perishable nature of our fresh produce, eggs, honey, and other farmstand products, we do not offer refunds. However, if you are dissatisfied with a product for any reason, please let us know, and we will do our best to make it right.
  • Exchanges:
    If a product is defective, damaged, or not as described, we are happy to exchange it for a similar item of equal value. Please bring the item and your receipt to the farmstand within 3 days of purchase to process the exchange.
  • Farmstand Credit:
    In certain cases, such as cancellations of farm stays, workshops, or tours, guests may be offered farmstand credit as an alternative to a refund. This credit can be used to purchase fresh produce, eggs, honey, or other farmstand products during your visit or on a future date.

5. Acts of God or Force Majeure

In cases of natural disasters, pandemics, or other events beyond our control, we will work with guests to reschedule their stay, workshops, or tours, or provide a partial refund, depending on the circumstances.


6. Special Considerations

As a Christian permaculture farm, we value compassion and understanding. If you are facing financial hardship, health challenges, or other difficulties that impact your ability to keep your booking, please contact us directly. We will prayerfully consider your situation and work with you to find a fair solution.


7. Processing Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7-10 business days and returned to the original payment method. Please note that bank processing times may vary. For farmstand exchanges or credit, adjustments will be made immediately upon approval.
